Events Coordinator
A statewide trade association is seeking an event coordinator to support events, communications and membership initiatives for the association and its affiliate. This position will support the Director with planning and execution of in-person programs and conferences as well as virtual programming. They will plan and distribute promotional emails and manage registration and sponsorship inquiries. This position will manage social media messaging and assist with communications campaigns as well as design and produce digital and print materials such as flyers, advertising and signage using Canva or similar tools. Minimal website updates using MemberClicks.
Candidate should have 1-3 years’ experience demonstrating an ability to coordinate projects, develop communications, work collaboratively and a basic knowledge of social media platforms. In-state travel will be required one to two nights per month to provide onsite event support such as registration desk, session support, and casual video or photography to facilitate post-event social media and other communications. Benefits include 401k, health insurance, paid leave, short and long-term disability. Training on specific platforms and processes will be provided.
Compensation: $43,000.00 per year
